Cross Czech a.s. participates actively in the implementation of European policies supporting culture. Our experts cooperate with the Unit of Technology Enhanced Learning and Cultural Heritage of European Commission in the area of evaluating of project proposals. We also cooperate with this unit on preparatory works of forthcoming work plans. Thanks to this experience, we can participate on transmitting long-term strategies of cultural heritage protection into reality.
Cross Czech intensively co-operates with the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic being the consulting company in the area of harmonization of EU strategic development. This cooperation involves the management of MinervaPlus (FP6) and MichaelPlus (eTen) projects and the development of new projects. Same consulting services are provided to the Ministry of Culture of Italy and Slovakia. In Italy two projects are under development, ATHENA and EDL Local both being submitted under eContent plus programme. In Slovakia Cross Czech organises workshops and contributes to the development of the national webportal on culture as well as helps to involve the Ministry to European cultural projects (e.g Michael+).
Our scope is to inform effectively interested parties and potential project participants about all EU funding possibilities. Galleries, museums, archives, libraries and other cultural institutions are our main partners and clients in this area. We are trying to support their engage in programmes like Culture 2007 and their mutual collaboration with other organisations Europe-wide. We offer complex services, including general consultations about possibilities of funding of cultural projects, development of the project proposal, assistance in project submission and project management.
We also participate in some projects as regular partners – consortium members. See more at our references (services and projects sections).
